With this particular hashtag Twitterverse responded to the yesterday's Closing Ceremony of Olympic Games 2012. An important role in the ceremony was given to British fashion: several huge billboards, picturing British top-models wearing exquisite garments by British designers, were displayed in the center of the main stage. Kate Moss (in Alexander McQueen), Naomi Campbell (also wearing Alexander McQueen), Stella Tennant (in Christopher Kane), Lily Cole (in Erdem), Karen Elson (in Burberry), Jourdan Dunn (in Jonathan Saunders and Stephen Jones), Georgia May Jagger (in Victoria Beckham), Lily Donaldson (in Vivienne Westwood) and David Gandy (in Paul Smith). Shortly after their appearance the posters revealed the fashion-stars themselves. They walked rather fiercely the improvised runways - the lines of Union Jack (main stage decoration). The looks were created by Sam McKnight (famous British hair artist) and Val Garland (renowned British make-up artist).
We hope that after watching the ceremony, Russian Olympic committee hasn't decided to invite Viatcheslav Zaitsev and Valentin Yudashkin to Sochi's events in order to show 'Russian fashion'...

Fashion Month #1. Beginning.

*Prada Mannequins are waiting for the new season's shows to start, sitting in the front row.

Our favourite time of the year has come. 4 weeks of new collections in the main fashion-capitals - New York, London, Paris and Milan. And a lot of fashion-related events.

Let's start the Spring/Summer 2012 season!

We are waiting not only for summer clothes made of light semi-transparent fabrics (on the runaway), but also for the editors, buyers and fashion-bloggers to rock the main fall trends (in the audience and in the streets).

And while we are forcing our way through hundreds of photos from the recent GQ awards party, Fashion's Night Out and first days of New York Fashion Week, you can watch half a dozen of new ad videos.

1. Ad campaign of Lanvin which was met with enthusiasm by all the critics (by Steven Meisel).

2. New video of Dior's perfume J'adore starring Charlize Theron (by Jean-Jacques Annaud).

3. A genuine film (the whole 105 seconds) which is promised to be continued - ad video of Trésor Midnight Rose (by Mario Testino).

4. Cheerful ad campaign of new Chanel nail polish.

5. Another work of Mario Testino (this time in collaboration with Christopher Bailey) that became a sensation long before its premiere (watch the video and you'll understand why) - an advertisement of a new Burberry fragrance - Burberry BODY. Starring Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

But if your heart doesn't melt with little pretty British chubby lads, don't be upset! There are Americain children! Photos from children's ad campaign were shown also at Gucci. But here thoughtful mother hasn't lost sight of kids not for a second.

Yes-yes! Jennifer Lopez and her twinsMax and Emme. The ad campaign is dedicated to the partnership of Gucci Group and UNICEF which assumes that Gucci will donate 1 mln $ to UNICEF's program "Schools for Africa".
